The Evans Lab is conducting a study to identify genetic risk factors for hemangiosarcoma and related cancers, including lymphoma and histiocytic sarcoma, in Australian Shepherds and Miniature American Shepherds. Blood samples and/or Embark raw data are needed from dogs of these breeds diagnosed with any of these hematopoietic cancers. Blood samples from dogs of these breeds who are at least 10 years old with no history of cancer are also needed.
